If you can't say anything nice.....

Don't say anything at all. 

I've taken on the 40 day challenge of the Love Dare.  And that was today's dare.  To not say anything negative to your spouse.  And shockingly I haven't.  Even when  he was being a butt for all of 2 seconds. I just chose not to speak. :) 

I think this challenge is going to improve our relationship immensely.  I'll be updating daily with how the challenge goes with each dare.

Two Words

She's CRAWLING!  Now for the baby gates to go up! lol  She's kinda sluggish right now, but soon she'll be zooming around chasing her brother.

Loved seeing all my family

We got to see pretty much everybody on Christmas Eve & Christmas Day.  We had a blast at Aunt Arlene's for christmas (and bella was on good behavior too!).  Koda was very happy with Brad's flash light. :)  Friday morning we had our yummy breakfast at Patty's.  And we snuck in a few cake balls for a snack. :P  I'm pretty sure Mama Jo LOVED her gift.  lol  Now she can take lots of pics.  Then off to mom's to open with the brother and his family.  I think mom liked her photo book.  And J.R. loved his gift.  After that we drove cross country (well it felt like it) to my dad's.  Had some yummy mexican food.  (which I'll prolly be making this week).  Watched some football then had to head back our way so Koda could go see his dad.  We had a great time, and was so glad to see all my family.  Now it's close to time to bring in the new year.  Gotta work on my resolutions.  :)

The holidays

Well we had a busy holiday.  Wednesday night we had dinner with my inlaws.  And Bella was shockingly on her best behavior.  It was weird. lol  Dakota had a blast playing with all his cousins.  Thursday we went to Brad's aunt's.  He has a huge family, and I love when we get together with them.  Friday was pretty tame. We watched movies all day and got a few things for Bella at babies r us.  Mostly baby food. :P  Saturday we had our friends over for Thanksgiving dinner.  I was so happy everyone showed up.  It was a lot of fun. And all the food was yummy.  sunday we went to my uncle's for turkey day with my family.  It was greatness.  And I got to see Miss MarLeigh.  She's getting so big.  Only a few more weeks and the girls can see each other again. i hope they grow up to be BFF's.  They are only 2 months apart.  I will post pictures later.  I have some funny video of Dakota singing in the car, well until he realized that i was videoing him. :)

New Moon Premier & Other stuff

Well Thursday night I went with Vanessa and Jason for the midnigh showing of New Moon.  It was AWESOME!!!!  Can't wait until me and Brad get a chance to go see it together. It was so much better than the first one.  Now we wait until June for Eclipse. 

Well Bella has started ths new thing where she tries to blow spit bubbles.  It's hilarious.  Here's a video of it.   She only seems to do it when she's starting to get mad.  Sorry it's so extremely close & dark.  We hanging out on the couch.

Then of course we had to get a video of her eating.  It was pretty funny too.  If you don't get the food in her mouth fast enough she literally tries to attack you!










Now for wedding talk.  We have our colors picked, turquoise & black.  I have my girls, Brad doesn't have all his yet.  So planning is underway.  I'm hoping to get the girls to decide on a dress or pick one of the 3 I like for them pretty soon.  So that I know they have them.  Then I have to figure out what Marliegh & Bella are gonig to wear. I'll probably have to make their dresses.

Bella's 4 month Check-Up

A few weeks later lol.  She now weighs 14 lbs and is 25" long.  She's getting so big! And way to fast! :(  She's completely healthy  which is always great news!  She's also teething, blegh.  Fun stuff.  Anyways, that's all.  Just wanted to give an update on her well visit. 

We decorated the Christmas tree last night, so I'll post pics of that either tonight or tomorrow.  Have a great Monday!!!!

Total Nerd Moment

Extremely stoked!  NEW MOON IS LESS THAN A WEEK AWAY!!!!!!!!!  I can't wait to see it.  After I get out of class Thursday evening I'm meeting one of my besties, and we're gonig to the drive in for the midnight premier.  GO TEAM EDWARD!!!!!  (although Taylor Lautner got hot for this one ;)

Rolling rolling rolling.....

Bells has learned to roll over.  She had been rolling from back to tummy, but now she's rolling from tummy to back.  She's also starting to hold her self.  Crawling is only moments away  now.....

Well we had a decent weekend.  Friday night did some cleaning.  Well mom did.  I dealth with cry baby. Saturday we all went to Canton.  Bella was such a good girl and was cracking up.  I'm not sure why, but she was just giggling and laughin at everyone.  Koda had a blast.  I had to keep reminding him not to run ahead of me.  He FINALLY listened.  I got a pic of Bella and then of Marleigh sleeping. 

 

That night we took the kids trick or treating.  Dakota was a pirate and Bells was a tiger because she growls a lot.

Oh the joys of baby food

Well Monday night I decided I'd give Bells some cereal mixed with peaches.  Well she loved it.  When she gets really excited about something she throws her arms all over the place to show it.  Well she did this, and baby food went flying everywhere.  And she thought it was quite funny.   I didn't find it so funny.  Only I'm a big dork and didn't have the camera out and ready.  So I took som epics last night of her 2nd night of food.  Carrots... mmmmm   And of course there is Koda.  He's my lil camera hog.  He loves being in pictures. 

 

 

 

A few updates

First major update!!!! I get to walk across the stage to get my bachelors degree on May 15th!  I'm so excited.  Then on to studying for my GRE and off to grad school!

Second the kids are getting so big.  Bells rolled over and sat up.  She thinks she is grown up.  Dakota is getting so big.  I can't believe he's going to be 6!!!!  Mmy baby is growing up!

And lastly Brad's great aunt passed away today.  Please keep our families in your prayers.

Need a change

I've been thinkin the past couple of days.  I need to make a lot of changes in my life.  I've been so flustered and frustrated lately.  It's starting to take a toll on my health.  I still have a lot of anger and resentment from when I was pregnant.  And no matter what is said I still have A LOT of doubt.  I don't know what to do to change it.  The only thing I can figure is maybe going to see a counselor.  I need to talk to someone who is neutral in the situation.  I can't help but feel constantly hurt and let down.  It's affecting work, my studies, and my time with the kids.  Please pray for me while I go through the processes of making changes in my life, and letting go of all the hurt. 

Ugh!!!!!

Well it looks like I'm going to have to start taking my classes in Denton or transfer to a different university.  But I'm pretty sure I can make next semester my last semester for my bachelors.  SO we shall see.  Will update more after I talk with my advisor.

Making progess

Bella actually didn't scream bloody murder taking a bath last night.  she actually played in the bath for about 10 minutes!!!!  I was sooo happy.  She was cranky on our adventure to get home yesterday though.  Gotta love living in the boonies!  We couldn't go home the way we usually do because the bridge was flooded.  Then we tried going through Palmer.  Well....  we crossed over the highway only to see TXDoT trucks putting up signs that the road was flooded.  So we turn back around and go through Garrett.  The whole time Bella is extremely unhappy mind you.  And Koda decided it was a nice time for a little cat nap. How the child slept through her crying I have NO CLUE!  But we finally made it home 30 minutes later!

Next weekend is our Halloween Party and I'm stoked!  I can't wait it's going to be a blast.  I still have to figure out what I'm going to be though.  If funds allow, I'll be buying my costume, if not then I'll prolly just be a hippie.  Bella still isn't 100% but I'm hoping she's getting over this ear infection.  How she feels is going to determine whether or not I go out with this guys on friday.  Can't wait for the game on Saturday!!!!!

Homecoming Parade

Well last night was Bella's first homecoming parade.  Grandma bought her a mum, and she kept trying ot eat it.  IT was quite funny.  Koda enjoyed the parade. I think he took more pictures than got candy. I was picking up candy while he was taking pics of the floats.  I swear the child is just like his mommy!

Sorry for the downer post yesterday.  It wasn't a good day!  But today's a new day right? :) 

I'm hoping the rain holds off until after the homecoming parade.  Bella and Brad went to her first parade last weekend. But he forgot the camera so no pics.  Well tonight I'm getting pics by golly.  And then I have to run to walmart to get some fabrc paint.  We are going to make Koda some spirit pants & maybe Bella a spirit onesie! I wish we could go to the game, but I don't want to push the outings since Bella still doesn't feel 100%.  I will have pics later so sheck it out!

Frustration is going to be the death of me.....

I know God will never give me more than I can handle, but right now it seems like everything is falling.  My worry over our finances is literally eating me alive.  I don't have money to pay bills.  I have to tell Koda no when he wants to do things because we are broke.  I'm not even going to class this week because I don't have money for gas.  Things would be a little bit easier if I actually got child support to help with daycare.  But I'm not counting on that to happen.  It seems like everyone is letting me down including me.  All B knows how to do is spend money.  I try to be as frugal as possible, but sometimes unforeseen costs come up, and that drains you of everything.  All this worry has my health going to the wayside.  I have rally eaten an actual meal in over a week.  I've lost 5 or 6 pounds in just a week because of the stress.  I can't deal with it anymore.  I have my etsy store, which brings me a few sales, but not really anything significant to pay for anything.  And even though he doesn't want me to I'm seriously thinking about getting a second job to help get us caught up and maybe dig our way out a little sooner.  The only thing I worry about is not being able to see the kids. I barely get to spend time with them now because I'm in school.  I'm just at my wit's end, and don't know what to do. 

Just figured I'd give updates

First, I've stopped being so focused on my weight. I'm losing it, and right now that's all that matters.  I'll work on toning and all that in a bout a month or so.  I was becoming obsessed with losing the weight, and I don't want to be like that again.  It can lead down a very scary road. 

School is hectic as usual.  But hopefully I can get a routine down.

Dakota is great.  He loves his teacher, and they do lots of cool things.  This Friday morning they are having a transportation parade.  So me and Koda have to start working on his car tonight.  I think here pretty soon we are going to have to take him to the doc.  His nosebleeds have been getting worse.  I took a pic of him yesterday after a bad nose bleed, and he looks like he got into a fight.  He wouldn't let me clean him up when we got home because he was being a zombie. lol Here's a pic.

Bella is getting bigger every day.  She can almost lift herself completely up.  We are trying to transition her into sleeping in her own bed.  Last night she slept in there from 9:30 until 2.  So I was happy to get a few hours of comfortable sleep.

Now for the big news.  Me and Brad are FINALLY going to set a date to get married.  It will be sometime after the new year.  Not sure what we are going to do yet though.  So we'll keep you updated!

Lots of updates

well a lot has been going on lately. I'm still trying to adjust to school, work & 2 kids. Plus I'm still trying to keep my business going. I'm hoping to be part of a craft fair in November. So we'll see how that works out. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Koda: Last week K was started in a new class. There were too many kindergarteners per teacher so they hired an additional teacher. He seems to like her class. I'm going to email her this afternoon to see how he's doing. We just bought him a bunch of books. Can't wait to sit down with him and read them tonight. All in all he's doing good. Getting big and staying healthy. Although he already eats like a teenager. lol

Bella: B has been pretty good. She is now 12 lbs. We had to take her to the doc last week because she was hardly eating, and EXTREMELY fussy. Ends up she had a minor ear & upper respiratory infection. So we are getting her over that. She also got to meet her new cousin this weekend. I hope B & Marleigh are like me and Karlie and end up being besties. I don't know what I would do without my Karlie-bell. I hope they have that same bond especially since they are only 2 months apart in age. lol

Well I'm going to go for now.. But one last thing.... I WAS ABLE TO FIT INTO A SIZE 5! I was so excited and jumping up and down. Brad thought it was funny and Karlie looked at me like I was crazy. Maybe I am tho :)

Bella Got her ears pierced!!!!

She was so brave. Mama Lala has taken each of us girls in the fam to get our ears pierced. Kind of a tradition. So we wanted her to be able to take Bella. Well we did this weekend before we left Brady. Here is the process from beginning ot end. I will have some better pics of her in her pretty earrings later this week. And there are also some pics of my family.

Goat Cook Off!

The Goat cook off was A LOT of fun. There were so many people there this year. Brad & Koda's fascination was the Apache Helicopter that was there. They got to see it take off and everything. I'm just glad it wasn't very hot. It was a great day, with lots of great food. And then that night we hung out with the family. We were all pretty worn out from our day.

There are going to be a few today

First up is our trip to Dinosaur World. We went Friday on our way to Brady. It was pretty cool. Koda thought it was awesome. I've never seen the child so excited. He's so ready to go back too. So we might go back in the spring. I'm just glad he had a great time. Bella was in a good mood too, but she was so hot. My poor babies having to endure stupid heat. lol

I'm such a slacker!

I haven't been keeping up with the blogs. Things have been a little busy around our house. lol I think we have somewhat of a routine with the kiddos. Dakota started kindergarten last Monday. I think he really enjoys it. He told me yesterday that I was the best mommy because I make delicious lunches for him. It was so sweet. We've been reading every night, and hopefully he'll pick up reading a little better. We have to start working on sight words. Fun stuff. :P We are thinking about putting him in some kind of extra curricular sport in the spring if he shows that he can handle school & a sport.

Bella is already 2MONTHS old. I can't believe it. She weighs 11 lbs now and is 23 1/2" long. She's getting to be such a big girl. She's already teething. She's a baby going on 18. lol She thinks she is so grown up.

Time goes by so fast with little ones. Why can't my babies be babies for a long time :( But I'm looking forward to seeing what types of teenagers & adults they will be. They make me proud every day.

I started school on Thursday. I love Helen she is awesome. This week starts my half week of classes. I'm not sure I"m ready , but I don't have much of a choice! lol

So this is my week 3 & 4 update.

Yeah I started slacking so here are my weeks 3 & 4 updates.

Week 3 I didn't have any change in weight it was still at 142.

Week 4. Last week was busy with school starting for both Koda & I. I guess I lost some weight doing all the running around I do now. lol

So the starting weight was: 142
Ending weight on 8/28: 137
Total lost: 5 lbs.

We'll see how much I lose this week. :P

Week 2 update

Well this week I walked every day. The distance was about a mile, and I haven't really been eating much. I need to take better care of myself. So here are the stats.

8/6 weigh in: 143
8/13 weigh in: 142

Only lost a pound. Maybe next week will be better.

My kiddos are growing up way too fast

I can't believe in 2 weeks my baby boy starts kindergarten. He's getting so big. And it's amazing how he interprets everything. He talks so grown up and everything. It's adorable. But it makes me want him to slow it down. It seems like yesterday that he was my little newborn.

And lil miss over-achiever is already rolling over from her back to her tummy. She's only 6 weeks old. She needs to learn that she don't need to be doing that.

Well it's crazy late, so I'm going to get off here. Hopefully tomorrow Bella will be in a good mood and I can get some cleaning done. And when baby boy gets home him & mommy have a date to go through and organize his room.

Week 1 Weight Loss

Okay so I went to the doc on Tuesday for my 6 week check up and between Friday and then I gained 2 pounds.  Well  Monday I didn't do any excerising and I didn't on Tuesday either.  Wednesday I did my Carmen Electra workout and swore I was going to die half way through the cardio warm up.  I used to be able to do the whole workout without too many issues.  That's obviously not the case now. lol  Tonight we all went walking as a family.  I think the distance was half a mile to a 3/4 of a mile.  I decided to do my weigh in tonight while mom had Bella occupied.  Here are the stats.

7/31 weigh in: 145
8/4 weigh in: 147
8/6 weigh in: 142

Total weight lost: 5 lbs

So although I gained the 2 lbs by Tuesday, I lost that plus 3 lbs for this week's weigh in.  That's a total of 5 lbs lost so far.  My goal is to lose an additional 5 by next Friday.  Wish me luck!

I figure this is the only way I will be able to be accountable for losing this baby weight. 

My starting weight is: 145 lbs
My goal weight is: 125 lbs

I am going to try to start eating better, easier said than done. lol  I'm also going to do 30 minutes of cardio or go for a walk every evening.  It's the only way I'll be able to lose it all.  Brad is also going to be walking with me. We are going to make it a family thing. :)  I just wish it wasn't so dang hot!

Already a month!

I can't believe Bella is already a month old!  Time really does fly!  Dakota has been an awesome helper and LOVES being a big brother.  He starts kindergarten next month, and I hate that he's growing up, but looking forward to seeing what kind of young man he is going to become.  He makes me so proud, and he is soooo smart.  Sometimes too smart! :P  Bella weighs a lil over 9 pounds now.  And she is such a fake crier.  If you're not holding her she cries, it's awful, but the minute you pick her up she stops.  I'm trying to break that habit, but daddy isn't helping.  He runs right to her. lol  I'm hoping to get some family pictures of the 4 of us soon.  I got her newborn photos, and I'm going to make a photo book of my maternity photos and her newborn photos.  So here pretty soon I'll have that for y'all to see.  I'm also working on her announcement.  I can't decide which pic I want to use. So many decisions. lol

It's been hard making time for me with the 2 wee ones. So I'm going to make an honest effort in taking time out for me.  I start school next month, and I'm really excited.  I know shocking right.  lol  I'm looking forward to what this next semester holds for me academically.  I'm also going to be posting a blog every week.  On Friday I'm going to start trying to get my girlish figure back. lol  So I'll be posting an entry with my starting weight and my goals.  I'm hoping I can change my lifestyle so I can feel healthy again. I love that feeling because I feel like I can conquer the world.  Well that's all I got for now.  I'm going to take pics of the kiddos tomorrow with my lil cheapy camera, so look for those pics. 

I have turned Dakota into.....

a HARRY POTTER NUT just like ME! lol Brad and I had a Harry Potter marathon to relive the previous movies in time for the 6th one came out. Well Dakota decided he wanted to watch too. According to him his real name is Harry Potter, he wants a wand, and has been running around in a pair of old glasses that don't have the lenses in them to be like Harry Potter. lol It's too cute. And I'm so psyched that I now have someone in this house that loves HP as much as I do! lol So I'll be working on a cloak for him for Christmas most likely with the Gryffindor emblem on it. I think this week I'm going to start reading the books to him. So he knows that the books are SOOOOOOO much better. :)

Bella had her 2 week check up today and she now weighs 8 lbs 2 oz. So she gained over a pound since last week. Doc says she is completely healthy and fine. But she's having some gas issues. So last night and tonight thus far have not been fun. I'm going to check out a book that was recommended to me by a wonderful mama. I hope what I learn from it helps. And thanks to all the DAM mamas that gave me advice. I really appreciate it!

Bella's Jaundice Check Up

We had the check up for Bella's jaundice this morning and everything is good! We have her 2 week well check up next Monday. She did lose 4 oz but that's normal. I'm sure next weeks appointment will be great.

She got to come home

Bella was able to come home yesterday! We were both so happy. And our hearts filled with joy when we went to the hospital and she heard us and started smiling. She has to go see her pedi for a jaundice check up on Monday. Hopefully everything still looks good then!

Update on Bella

She was able to get off the phototherapy at 7 this morning. They are going to do a forehead strip test on her at 1. And if that comes back okay, we will be bringing her home today. It's so hard leaving her up there and her not being home when we are. We will be heading to the hospital at 12 and hopefully be home with our sweet girl not too long after.

Another Update on Bella

Well she has to stay another night. Me and Brad came home because they couldn't guarantee us a room all night. It sucks. THat has to be the hardest decision I've made regarding my children. I feel like an awful mom for leaving her up there and coming home. I just hope another night with the lights on her will make her levels go down enough to come home in the morning. They are going to do another test on her at 5am. So if she goes down below the low risk percentile she'll be able to come home.

Update

She seems like things are getting better. She's had a lot of poopy diapers and is eating a lot more. Which is what the main concern is in getting rid of her jaundice. We have set up her pedi appt for tomorrow on the jaundice follow up. But that is only if we are able to take her home tonight. If not I will be up here another night. Keep your fingers crossed for us. She's onry like her daddy & mommy though so I'm sure she'll make it to where she can go home today. lol

Bella is here!!! aka our birth story

Well Friday I was having braxton hicks pretty bad and Koda told me it was going to happen Friday. Well he was wrong. lol I took Koda to meet his Gee at 5 Friday afternoon so he could spend the weekend at his dad's. I came home played some Guitar Hero because I had been itching to :) Brad got home from work and we decided we were going to go to Willie's to play poker. And by play I mean him play and me watch. We went and picked up Mama Jo and headed to Willie's. After a few hours and when mom went out on the second game we decided we would take a walk around the block to hopefully entice little Miss Bella to be born. We took mom home around 1:30 or so, and went home. I was so wound up and not ready to go to bed that I stayed up until about 4:30. I finally went to sleep. Around 10:30 I felt a major pain that woke me up. I concluded that it was in fact a contraction. I had never felt one that actually caused me to wake up, so I figured it might be the day. Brad had to get up and get some things from the supply store to fix Mama Jo's house. So I decided I didn't want to be home alone having contractions and went with him.

Bad idea. Every time I had a contraction he would kind of freak out and ask if we needed to head to the hospital. I reassured him I would know when we needed to head that way. The contractions started getting about 5 minutes apart around 12 or so. We went to eat at Dairy Queen after we got the supplies we needed. The contractions were getting a little more uncomfortable. I text my mom (because she told me she got texts in the warehouse, not the case but anyway) and told her that I would let her know when we were headed to the hospital. We got home around 1:30 or so and I decided I would call the doc and see what they would like me to do. Well Dr. Inser called me back and said that I should go ahead and head to L&D. So we made sure everything was loaded up in the car and started to head this way. I text mom to let her know.

When we got here I did all the question answering stuff and they hooked me up to everything. The contractions began getting closer together and A LOT stronger. I ended up getting Stadol in my IV to help with the pain. They doc came in around 4ish and broke my water. At that time I was dilated to a 4. I called mom and she headed down here and let me tell you she got here in record time! lol My dad did too. He was headed to Austin for the weekend and turned around and came back. I kept feeling like I had to push and I wasn't dilated enough. The pain was intense. I don't remember it being that way with Dakota. So I decided to ask for an epidural. Brad kept asking me if I was sure because he knew I was going to try to go natural. I don't regret the fact that I had the epidural. It made my labor experience so much better. Around 6:30 I was dilated to a 7. At that time the doc asked who all was staying and who was going. :P So my mom & dad went to the waiting area while Brad came to my side. I gave probably 10 really good pushes and my baby girl was here! Brad got to put on her first diaper after they cleaned her up. I don't think I've ever seen him so happy.

About 30 minutes after I had her all 3 grandparents were able to come in the room. So needless to say she was spoiled within the first few hours. lol Mama Jo went home before it got dark so she wouldn't get lost in Dallas. And my mom & dad stayed until 11ish. We got to the room at 8 and had pizza delivered because boy was I hungry. lol

The first night was pretty sleepless. Bella has definitely got a set of lungs on her. lol Sunday was a good day. She got a lot of rest and so did we. We were supposed to be able to leave at 7 on Sunday, but Bella's jaundice levels were too high. So she's on a phototherapy pad and has her eyes covered and it breaks my heart not being able to look into her eyes.

We are hoping to be able to go home today. We are just waiting on the lab results. So keep your fingers crossed. Brad and I are going a little stir crazy being here.

Until we leave here is a slideshow of her first day in our world. She was born at 6:51 pm on 6/27/09. She weighed 7 lbs 4 oz and was 20 1/4" long. We are so happy she is finally here.

Today may be the day

I was awaken by a killer contraction. It hurt really freaking bad. So maybe that means she's ready to make her appearance! We shall see though. Will keep y'all updated.

Bella is still being stubborn

Well little miss is still being stubborn. I went to the doc this morning and I'm at a -1 station, 70% effaced, and dilated to 1 cm. Losing my plug so I'm hoping that means she'll be here really soon. I have a doc appointment on Monday at 8:50. For now my induction is scheduled for Friday, but we are going to see if Dr. N can get it any sooner when he gets back in town Monday morning. I'm hoping he can work some magic. If she decides to be completely awesome and comes this weekend I'll definitely let y'all know. Koda said he bets she'll be born tomorrow. Lets hope he's right.

Today is my due date......

.......and there is still no Bella. I really hope she decides to make her debut today. I have a doc appt today at 3:45, and I'm hoping labor starts before then or while I'm in the doc office. She hasn't moved around as much as she usually does since last night. So that kinda freaks me out. My doc is out of town and I'm seeing his partner. So maybe after I tell him her movement has slowed down ALOT he will just induce me today or tomorrow. But we'll see. I was hoping she would debut on Sunday, but as we can see that didn't happen. I need to order a few big prints of my maternity pics in black & white to hang in her room. But that's gonna have to wait til my next pay check maybe.

I also found out last night that I have a little sister. She is 2 1/2 months old. I hope to get to meet her soon and have a relationship with her. I miss not being able to see my other brothers & sister because they live kind of far a way. Not too far, but with our money sitch it makes things difficult. I guess we'll see where all this goes.

Anyways.... I think I'm going to go get a shower and pick up the house a bit.

so frustrated & upset

Like I said in my post earlier Brad will be working out of town pretty soon and we don't know if Bella will be born before they go to Austin. So I called the doc's office to see about getting induced so that we would know for sure that Brad would be here. But since the doc will be out of town next week we can't schedule anything so please pray that she decides to be born while he is here.

Still no Bella

I'm seriously beginning to think I'm going to be pregnant forever! lol I know I won't, but man does it feel like it. I need to have her soon though because Brad has a job out of town for a while, and he doesn't want to miss her birth, and wants to spend some time with her before he has to go work. So hopefully she decides this weekend would be a good time to be born. lol

Another good thing is Brad decided he is going to quit smoking. He's doing it cold turkey, so it's going to be interesting around our house. lol For that reason I'm glad he'll be working out of town for a while they can deal with the mood swings. But all in all this will help keep me from starting back also. So if he's being a jerk, you can bet it's because of the nicotine withdrawal. All I ask is that his decision is supported. Maybe he'll stick to it this time.

I also made a few bows last night. They are so adorable you can check them out HERE . I'm going to make some 4th of July ones for Bella. I have a list of sewing projects I want to do get done. And if I start my leave tomorrow then I intend on getting them done. Then all I have to do is start on Marleigh's bed set. I need to finish it before the baby shower.

Only 2ish more days

until I go on maternity leave. I decided I'm going to go ahead and start it and hopefully get a lil bit of rest until lil miss decides she is going to make her debut. I'm also planning on doing some much needed sewing projects and make Bella a few diaper covers. I'm also hoping to get the bed set for Marleigh completely done. Well what I can get done with what I have. lol

Just got back from Doc

And it seems like I'm going to be pregnant forever!!!!! She's dropped but I'm not even dilated enough to induce. So that blows big time. My doc will be out of town next week so I'm going to see his partner on Tuesday afternoon. Hopefully by some miracle she's born this week. But the doc thinks she won't be here by the 30th even. So now we are just waiting it out I guess. I'm so frustrated and ready to not be pregnant that all I want to do right now is go home go to bed & cry. Makes me wonder if I even want more kids especially since this pregnancy has been so hellish.

Busy Saturday

Well the weekend was eventful. The only thing that would have made it better is if baby girl would have decided to make her appearance. But that didn't happen. We had Devin's b-day party that morning. It was a swim party at the Sokol. Koda had a blast. He got to jump off the diving board and thought he was cool stuff. He was going to jump off the tall diving board after watching Cambry do it, but then decided against it. :P Matt came and picked him up from the party. I finally used my gift certificate to get a pedicure & my eyebrows waxed (which so desperately needed it). Then it was off to Walmart. Got a few things there, and headed to Jen's b-day party. My bro met me up there and we went and washed my car it was incredibly filthy. We found a few scratches because apparently PG thinks it's okay to get on top of my car and sit on it. Not cool. After that we went and ate, then headed to Mesquite. I needed to get a few things at Babies R Us with my gift card there. We went to the mall, and I got a lot of walking in. Then we went to Old Navy. Their entire men's section was half off and I needed to get our 4th of July shirts. So it was an eventful trip. After that I took the brother back to his car then headed to Brian's to get Brad. We went to eat at Carino's for a date night. We were going to go to the movies... but by the time we got done eating we were both exhausted. We went home and went to bed.

I think I over-walked myself on Saturday though because Sunday it hurt to walk. It sucked. I tried to get the house somewhat presentable since Idk when I'm going to go into labor. I'm thinking about asking the doc if I haven't had her tomorrow if they can just induce me. I wanted a natural birth, but right now I want to be un-pregnant more than anything. I know sad right.

And then my cousin will most likely be moving another 2 hours away. So I'm not sure how our girls are gonna grow up together that way. lol

False Labor

That's what happened yesterday. I had contractions about 7-8 minutes apart for a few hours then they got down to 6-7, then they got down to 5-6 which is when the doc told me to call. So I did...... they sent me to labor & delivery. I was there from 4 to almost 5:30. The contractions stopped go figure. So they sent me home. I was disappointed, but I guess baby girl just isn't ready to meet everyone. I am hoping though that I go into labor sometime this weekend. It's not looking like it though. :(

This darn child

This kid is driving me nuts. lol I had contractions for 3 hours yesterday that were 10 minutes apart. I was really hoping last night was going to be the night, but obviously she's not ready. So maybe she'll decide to ome today or tomorrow. I plan o having my laptop with me at the hospital, so y'all will get an update fairly quick! lol And Dakota went from being a nightmare to being my awesome child again. So I'm not sure what all that was about.

Well

No Bella yet.. My cervix is thinned out, but I haven't dilated at all! Me and doc are both hoping I go into labor by this weekend. I'm miserable. My feet hurt soooo bad it's not even funny. I'm ready to not be preggo.

Shoot went....

great. At least I think so. We were taking a family photo and a girl that was having a quince walked out and Koda said she was hot and he loves hot girls. I was like um no sir. lol He's too young to be talking like that. Heather said it will be about 2 weeks before we get the pics. But I sooooo can't wait.

I've been on a cleaning frenzy tonight. I'm waiting on the loads in the washer & dishwasher to get done so I can start some more. Also our dog has been acting very strange tonight. Anytime I go outside PG follows me everywhere and has to constanty sniff me. So I'm hoping that means she senses that something is going to happen. :) I've never had a pet while I was preggo so Idk if they pick up on those types of things.

Anyways that's all for tonight I think. lol

Seriously.......

Well last night, or shall I say this morning, I had contractions for about 2 hours that were 8-10 minutes a part. They finally ended about 3:30. I was so hoping that would be it. But nope. But I have a feeling ti will be soon. (I mean within the next week or so.) So keep looking for updates!

Just a lil PSA for the day.....

DON'T slam your finger in the car door!!!! It hurts really bad. Yesterday we went to walmart to get some groceries, and Koda got out of the car as usual. But instead of standing by my door as usual..... he proceeds to start running around the car like a maniac. So instead of paying attention to where exactly where my finger was with the door because I'm trying to get my child to get his booty back by me...... This is what happens.....
And let me tell you it smarts. I got no sleep last night because the throbbing hurt so bad I was in tears. So I slept on the couch because I didn't want to wake Brad up. He called the hospitals non-emergency line and asked what I could do to keep it from hurting so bad. Well what they said helped some. Except for the ice.... that made it hurt tremendously!!!! But hopefully tonight I can sleep better. I'm just waiting to see when the nail will come off because that is inevitable.

Yesterday was Dakota's pre-K program. It was so cute. I've got video but due to last night's events, I didn't get it uploaded. So I'll be working on that when I get home. Dakota has gotten this awful little terror spell going on, and I'm at my wit's end. Idk what to do. He got his leapster taken away last night because of how he was behaving at school. And I'm not sure that his daycare is a good fit for him any more. He is picking up some very bad habits from the other kids, and saying things that he doesn't need to be saying. I'm glad he'll be staying at home with me this summer. Hopefully that will calm him down and we can prepare for Kindergarten.

Doc Appt

Well today at my doc appt I had to do the Group B Strep Test. Doc will get those results in a couple of days. My blood pressure looks great, my feet are still swollen, and I now weigh 164 pounds. so think that puts my gain up to 35 pounds. idk.. i lost track. He said she can come anytime she wants. It'd be great if it was sooner than later. lol Everything is getting really uncomfortable. I can't sleep, and then I forgot to ask him about my headaches. I've had a stupid bad headache since Friday. Friday I actually ended up going home early because it hurt so bad. But I go back next week and that's on my question list. I have my maternity shoot with Heather this weekend at the Arboretum. I can't wait. Hopefully Bella doesn't decide to come befor ethen. lol But I haven't been having any regular contrax so not likely. She is dropping tho.. I can feel it. So this weekend will be all about lil man since it's probably his last weekend as an only child! So hopefully we can find something cheap and fun to do with him.

Anyways there's the update. I'll pics to upload tomorrow of Koda's awards & music program. I can't believe it's the end of the year already.

The weekend

Pretty much sucked! We were supposed to have a night to ourselves Friday night, but of course that didn't happen. And I scrounged up what change I had for the 2 of us to spend the day at Canton on Saturday. (I really wanted a turkey leg & roasted corn. :P) Well we went but it wasn't just the 2 of us. Then we were going to go to the movie Sat. night cuz we had a coupon to a new theater in town, and you can assume that didn't happen either. So I felt pretty lonely all weekend long. But of course I'm the bad guy and my feelings aren't justified and whatever else... And the one person who always makes me happy wasn't home. He was at his dad's for the weekend. I just don't understand what I did to have all this come down on me right now. I swear all the stress is going to put me into labor ALOT sooner than I need for it to happen. I'm tired of all the excuses and am past the point of caring anymore. I've decided I'm going to live for me and my kiddos. They are all I need.

And all the seeds and stuff I planted for a garden are now wasted money because I couldn't get anyone to work up the ground for me. So I'm beyond mad about that. I just don't see why it's so hard for anyone to do anything for me when I can't do it myself. They bitch when I try to do it, but then get mad when I'm upset that it didn't get done.

Anyways, this was just a venting post. I'm done now..

But my 37 week doc appointment is tomorrow woohoo!!!!! We'll see what the doc says. I think she'll make her debut sometime within the next 2 weeks. And I have my maternity photos this weekend! I sooo can't wait.

So who wants to start placing bets....

.....on when Bella will make her arrival??? lol I kid I kid. Me and my mom both have a feeling she's going to decide she needs to be here a little sooner than her due date. My mom is thinking around the 15th. I'm thinking whenever she wants. I'm so uncomfortable right now it's not even funny. My feet look like irons! It hurts to walk.. The belly is sooooo big that it's hard to bend over. I don't remember this with Koda, but I didn't gain as much weight with him! I go to the doc on the 3rd so I'll have more info then for sure.

Next Friday is Koda's last day of school, and I'm so sad. He'll then officially be a Kindergartener. He's growing up way to fast. I told him he had to stop growing. He laughed at me, of course. He informed us this mornign that he loves Pre-K and doesn't want to go to Kinder. He doesn't want to leave Mrs. Nash. But he's ready for Summer. He'll be at the daycare every day until I have Bella, then he gets to stay home with mommy. I think he's most excited about that.

Memorial Weekend

I hope everyone had a great memorial weekend. We had a good time on Lake Texoma with my family. We had a few not so great things happen but those not so good things led to improvements me and Brad need to make. So that's good at least. We spent a majority of the time on the boat helping my uncle set lines & check. We caught quite a few fish Sunday & Monday. We had the bright idea of trying to head towards a storm to check lines but we turned around cuz it got cold FAST! lol And I got to drive a boat for the very first time. That was exciting for me. lol But I'm not so good at it... :P I'm a lil sun burned but nothing I can't handle. At least I can now sleep half way comfortable. It hurt so bad saturday & sunday that it hurt to move. We've already got our tent site reserved for the 4th of July so Bella will already have one camping trip under her belt. lol Thank goodness my aunt has a camper that we can use for Bella. Well here are pics of the weekend. Sorry there aren't as many as usual... but like I said that were some not great circumstances and I wasn't in the mood to take pics.

.....and we'll be on Lake Texoma with the fam. I'm stoked! I love camping, it reminds me to take a breather. lol I'm sure I'll have like amillion pics when we get back on Monday. If I have time I'll upload some in between. We have Dakota's buddy fun day in the morning at his school. Those pics will for sure be up before we leave tomorrow.

Good weekend

Well this weekend was pretty good. Friday when I got home I played GH World Tour for about 30 minutes. I realize that I need to keep up playing it cuz I suck AGAIN!!!! lol I haven't played since Dec or Jan and was sucking it up on Medium. I was doing pretty well on Hard before. So back to gaming I go. lol Then I went thru my entire closet for something to wear to Terry & Carrie's reception. I ended up dressing very basic. lol So now I have a pile of clothes to put up. Had a good time at the reception. Went home then stayed up talking outside with friends til like 1. This was after I tried getting in the bed of the truck from the side, but almost fell. Kelly told me he was not gonna let me do that again cuz we didn't need to go to the ER. So I decided to use the tailgate.

Saturday I cut my hair pretty short. Luckily Brad really likes it. lol I was worried he wouldn't. I went to Levi's party and he is such a cutie!!! Then I went home to wait for Brad to get home so we could go to my friend's daughter's party. He wanted me to wait so we could just take 1 car instead of 2. Well he didn't get home until after 9. If I woulda known that I would have gone to the party without him. I was really excited about going.

Sunday we had our date lunch. Then went and ran some errands. Since we haven't cooked for my mom for Mother's day yet we are making fajitas tonight. so I'll be a busy woman. But I got the blankee done for my friend's baby girl. Can't wait to give it to her.

Totally Forgot

I planted some veggie & herb seeds in a starter green house thingy from Home Depot. I did this I think Monday night when I got home from school. Me and Koda made it a fun little project. We're going to start another tray this weekend. Anyways..... I've already got some little seeds sprouting!!!!!! I so can't wait til they get a lil bit bigger so I can transplant them.

Done til August

Well I had my LAST final last night. I'm pretty sure I aced it. It was easy and Helen told us it would be. Now just gotta be patient until the grades are posted. Hopefully I will know next week what I have.

This morning we woke up to the sound of thunder.... and lots of it. It started pouring around 5!!! Well goober head left the windows on his truck down last night so the inside of the truck is nice and wet & will probably smell like mildew here soon.

And Koda's phrase of the week is "Bad Mamma Jamma" It's too funny hearing him say it. It cracks me up every time.

Great doc appointment!

Well my doc appointment went great. I weigh 158 lbs so that's a total weight gain so far of 27 lbs. Not too bad I don't guess considering I lost a lot of weight during the 1st trimester. I'm 34 weeks and will take pics tonight when I get home. Bella is still head down so that's lovely with heartbeat of 160 beats per minute. And that was pretty much it at the appt. I'm supposed to go every 2 weeks but the doc will be outta town in 2 weeks so I'll be going in 3 weeks. He said he's perfectly fine with that timeline since I'm so healthy & normal. lol (I don't know who he's calling normal.) He said I better not go into labor while he's gone. I told him I don't plan on it. :)

Later tonight I'll finish takign the pics of Koda's mother's day gift to me and my belly pics. So check back!

Some crafty things I did over the weekend & Mother's Day

Well I spent a large part of the weekend at the sewing machine. I got a lot of crafty things done. :) I made my mother in law & step-mother in law I guess you could say a fabric box that included a wallflower from bath & bodyworks, some pretty smelling hand sanitizer, and a heat pad thing to put in the microwave and soothe some tight muscles. that was their gift for hosting my baby shower. I wanted to do more, but wiht a tight budget it doesn't allow for much. I also tried my hand at some contoured burp cloths. I am for sure keeping one of them, and the other 3 will likely be in my etsy shop. I started working on a ragged quilt to put in my store or if it turns out totally cute I'm going to give it to a very special friend for her lil girl. I also made my mom & mother in law a burp cloth that says I love grandma on the bottom for mother's day, but they won't get it until lil Miss Bella is here. We are going to put her footprints on them and have her name & birthdate embroidered on them.

My mother's day was okay. Koda made me some adorable things at school. I totally forgot to take pics of them but I will tonight so y'all can see. Other than that it was crappy until we went to Patty's. I was extremely frustratd for numerous reasons, but out of that frustration I was able to clean my entire house and got ALMOST all the laundry done. But today my feet hurt & are still swollen. So i will prolly get griped at tomorrow by the doc. Oh well. At least I have a clean house ;)

Not much new...

Well I'm already starting to get tired of being pregnant.. I feel so huge and it's uncomfortable to walk, bend or do anything really. But I do it so that I can hopefully get the baby weight off as fast as I did with lil man. You better bet me and Koda will be out with the stroller this summer walking so mommy looks good again. :P

I'm really excited. I won an awesome pendant from a fellow mommy. They are beautiful and I can't wait to show y'all. Another thing..... I had one of my strawberry seeds sprout!!!!! I planted quite a few seeds like a month ago, and have been having a spazz attack because they haven't been growing. But Brad text me yesterday and let me know that one of them sprouted. Now to keep it alive! lol He finished mowing my garden area. I'm going to get them started in a mini green-house and then transplant them once they have sprouted. Cuz last year my garden SUCKED with a capital S. It was awful. But hopefully this year, we can get some good produce. Most of the seeds I'm planting are organic so that's even better. I'm tired of paying ridiculous prices for produce that isn't very good.

Koda is ALMOST done with Pre-K. His last day is June 5th. He has an awards & music program on the 3rd. I can't wait for that. Then he'll be going to daycare until his little sister arrives. After that he'll be home with mommy until school starts again in August. He's getting so big. He just had class group picture & another picture done. Hopefully I can dig around and find some money to order the CD like I did last time.

And be prepared to be bombarded with pics of things I'm creating. I got another set of quilt blocks to make another blanket for my store, and then with the left overs I've got some goodies that will be made for Mama Jo & Patty. So hopefully I can get those done by Sunday so I can give them to them then. I've got lots of sewing to do tonight & tomorrow. It's a good thing I enjoy it. :P
