I dedicate this song to you. The love of my life, and the man I'm proud to be calling my husband soon. We've had a few rough times, but we made it through them. Thank you for being patient with me. And above all else, thank you for loving me exactly the way I am. (even though I'm stubborn & hard-headed) ;)
Here are the lyrics also if you just want to read them.
My Love by Sia
My love, leave yourself behind
Beat inside me, leave you blind
My love, you have found peace
You were searching for release
You gave it all into the call
You took a chance and
You took the fall for us
You came thoughtfully
Loved me faithfully
You taught me honor
You did it for me
Tonight you will sleep for good
You will wait for me, my love
Now I am strong, you gave me all
You gave all you had
And now I am home
My love, leave yourself behind
Beat inside me, leave you blind
My love, look what you can do
I am mending, I'll be with you
You took my hand and added a plan
You gave me your heart
I asked you to dance with me
You loved honestly
Did what you could release
Ah, ooh
I know you're pleased to go
I won't relieve this love
Now I am strong, you gave me all
You gave all you had
And now I am home
My love, leave yourself behind
Beat inside me, I'll be with you

Reflection

These past couple of months have been a whirlwind. I had my heart completely shattered and felt true disappointment. (Which I never want to feel again, and I'm positive I won't.) During that time, the me I showed on the outside would lead everyone to believe that I was completely fine. On the inside all I wanted was to be whole again. I took the plunge and decided I would be whole again. A lot of people weren't happy about my decision, but I don't care about their opinions. I was bound and determined to be happy again, with the one person who did help me to be happy.
I've also learned who my friends truly are through all this. Some stuck with me through it all. They had my back through my split, through my stupid choices, and when I made my decision to be with the one person who has always and always will truly understand me. There are those who completely deserted me when I needed them most, and those that deserted me again when I made the decision to love unconditionally. Through it all I've learned that I really don't care about those that showed their true intentions, or only acted like they cared when it was convenient. I have the few friends that stuck with me. Those people are more than friends they are my family. I also know that all I need is my family. I don't know what I'd do without them.
All this is to say, I'm finally truly happy. I've come out of a dark time, and some bad choices. Thank you to all those that stuck with me through it all. I appreciate it, and love y'all more than you'll ever know.

Busy Weekend

We had a busy, but amazing weekend. Friday night was date night. I love those nights Brad and I get without the little crazies angels. We used our few hours of alone time to go see RED. I really enjoyed it. It was action packed and pretty funny. I swear Bruce Willis gets better looking with age. ;)
Saturday morning we just kind of lied around until it was time to go to Miss Savannah's birthday party. I was a punk rocker. (I already had everything I would need in my every day attire.) Brad was a gorilla & won best costume. Bella was a fairy, and won 2nd place.

Holiday Bows

Here are a few bows I've made for the girls in the family, and I have also listed some in my shop Hope y'all like!

Picnic @ the Park/Fall Carnival

Dakota's daycare has a fall carnival every year. Well it starts at 7, and we usually don't get to the house until after 6. So, instead of going all the way home just to turn around, we decided to grab something to eat and head to the park. So our picnic consisted of yummy goodness from Sonic. MMMM And our picnic turned into more playing than eating.
Waiting at the daycare for the carnival to start.
And the carnival begins!
Pin the nose on the pumpkin
Sports time! This kid is gonna be great at football!
Cruisin' the halls
Koda gettin' some ink :D
After all the pain....
Bella's turn for some "ink"
Her Tat.. Which by the way she HATED with a vengeance. She had it rubbed off within 2 hours. :P
Time for a new 'do
Cake-walk fun!
We left the carnival shortly after that. Bella decided she wanted to do things her way. So we left to avoid a tantrum. (She's gotten good at those btw)

The Sweet Babies

Busy Bee

I've been crafting a lot lately.
Here is a cowboys pillowcase dress I made Miss Bella. Sorry for the blurry picture. That kid is fast!
This lovely is the blanket I've been working on for a friend. And it is FINISHED!!!
After the blanket I began working on scarves for my bestie, Dakota & I for the Harry Potter release next month. Here's the beginning & finished picture of one of them. I'm half way done with the second one, and then will have 1 more to go.
Tonight I'm going to start cutting fabric for blankets. I'll be making a "Cars" one for Dakota, OU for my uncle, UT for my brother, & Cowboys for the honey! Lots of sewing in my future.

Pioneer Days 2010

This weekend was Ferris' Pioneer Day celebration. Koda & Adrian are both in Cub Scouts, and were in the very beginning of the parade. Here a few pics of our handsome lil guys.
These silly girls thought they were puppies!
