Etsy is Addicting!!!

Not that I have to tell many of you that.  I absolutely LOVE browsing & buying items off etsy.  There's nothing like getting an awesome item in the mail knowing someone put a lot of effort into it. 

Here are some of the things I've been looking at and have made it into my "favorites."

Football season is here, so I have been looking for bows for Bella to match her dresses I'm making her.

 mamarunswithscissors has these adorable baby legs that will be purchased as soon as she's back from vacation to use for our family pics.

And I absolutely love these prints at Chambre Noire  I will hopefully soon be owning one of these pretties.

You're not that awesome

Yeah that's what my lil guy told me.  The kid is crazy.  But so my kid.  :P

The weekend and week have been busy for us so far.  Over the weekend we went to OK to celebrate the marriage of my beautiful cousin and her hubby.  We had a great time with the family.  The kids actually  played well together.  I got some pics of all of them and boy was that not a lot of fun...

Now on to just my kiddos.  Here are a few of my princess and Dakota's 1st day of school.  He refused to let me take a photo of him and his teacher.  Meanie. He's had a great week so far and absolutely loves school.  He just needs to come home a lil more tired. lol

Productivity

I'm pretty sure my house could be on one of those shows on TLC.  I'm a serious pack rat, and have so much stuff.  Well we are rearranging a few of the rooms which is forcing me to go through EVERYTHING!  So far I've thrown a lot of stuff away.  I've got to get my crafting area under control.  Hoping that happens tonight.  Then off to set up the new play area for the kids.  I have to say I'm glad I'm getting things done, but oh my goodness does it leave me exhausted.  It's hard to do with my two little tornadoes though.  As soon as I get an area all nice and neat they whirlwind right through it.  They sure are cute though.  As soon as I get the crafting area & play area done i'll be sure to post pics.

I was looking through some pictures of Bella throughout her first  year, and she has gotten soooo big.

Much Needed Getaway

So I'm feeling colorful this morning :)  We spent the weekend with some of my family, and had an absolute blast!

First a funny story.  We were on our way to pick up Bella.  Koda tells us that he doesn't have any of his change left because he had to buy snacks for his girlfriends.  Yes that is plural.  He tells us that he has 3 girlfriends, but two of them broke up with him.  He said one of them is just so pretty he can't stop staring...  Kids I tell ya.  It was soo funny hearing him tell his story.  He cracks me up.

This song applies so much to my life right now.  And I just want to say thank you to my friends that will stick with me through thick & thin.  I don't know what I would do without y'all.  MUAH!

Already!!!

In just 19 days Dakota will officially be a 1st grader :'(  Where does the time go???  I remember holding him in my arms when he was born and thinking how he would always be my little boy.  He doesn't think so though because he is a big kid and he his going to 1st grade!

My scale & I have been getting along great.  We will continue to do so as long as the numbers keep going down.  Two weeks ago I weighed 138.6.  This morning i weigh 131.6!  I've lost 7 lbs in just 2 weeks! 

I've been doing the C25K program. But this week I hurt my knee pretty bad.  I don't know what I did to it, but I could barely walk yesterday. So running is put on hold until it's completely healed.  That really blows because my first race is labor day weekend. 

And Bella is just being Bella. She's little miss diva as usual.

Dancing is a GREAT workout

This weekend was a great weekend. 

Saturday I got some new running shoes so now maybe they'll be easier on my feet while I train for my first 5K that happens in a month!!!  Then I spent most of the morning with Laura & Jaden. I forgot how annoying much younger brothers are. lol  It's all good tho I still love the little punk.

After I went to my friends and we got ready for a night on the town.  We had dinner & 'ritas at Ojeda's.  Then we headed up to Red River.  I think I spent most of the night on the dance floor.  We had a great time.  Caught up with some old friends.  And burned a lot of calories goin' 'round that circle.  If you ever want to see how out of shape you are, go dancing.  It will remind you. :P
