Homecoming Parades are FUN!!!

Last night was our homecoming parade.  It was fun, and the kids really enjoyed themselves.  They also showed off their mums & garters. 

Today was spirit pants day!  So here are the kids in their pants. They look so stinking cute!

Bellz was not a happy camper. lol

Tonight is the game and we're going to be there supporting our Jackets!!!  There will be more pictures later.  LETS GO JACKETS!!!!

Spirit Week

So homecoming is this week, and we've been busy trying to get things done for it.  Tuesday was crazy hat day, and Dakota thought wearing his cowboy hat was crazy enough. lol  Today is Tie Dye day.  So we made shirts last night.  And when I say we I mean myself, my bro & Mel.  The kids decided they would rather play. lol

Tonight I'll be making both kids spirit pants to wear to school Friday and during the game.  For now all that's done is the mum & garter.

Oh the joys of goat! lol

As most people know I go every year to my little hometown for the Goat Cook Off.  It's pretty much the only time lil ol' Brady is sprung to life.  I absolutely love my family, and need to see them more often.  So I won't be waiting a year at a time. Life is way too short not to spend with those you love.  It also made me realize quite a few things.  And those things are coming to fruition as we speak. Wish me luck.  And now for some pictures. lol

Never make someone a priority when they only make you an option

I don't know who said this, but this is my new outlook on life in general.  After lunch with a really great friend I realized I was doing just that.  I was allowing myself to be merely an option to a few people.  After a lot of thinking, I've decided I'm no longer going to be an option.  I WILL BE A PRIORITY!  Sorry for the caps but it's like one of those sudden epiphanies. :D  I'm focusing on me and my kids, and letting everything else fall into place.
