Major Fail

I tried a banana bread recipe off allrecipes.com. And I will not be using that recipe again. It was pretty bad. So tonight I'm going to try a recipe off Food Network by Emeril. He's my fave chef! :D

Bella & Koda

My 15 month old

Bella had her 15 month check up this morning complete with 4 shots! She is completely healthy, no ear infections or anything like that. Her back molars have come in though. Now time to start brushing those lil pearly whites. She is 30 1/2" long and weighs 22 lbs 6 oz. She was having fun at her appointment until the lady with the basket came in. Now you have to remember I have an extremely over-dramatic child. 1st shot she was fine, after that all hell broke loose. She was crying for a good 15-20 minutes. Poor kiddo. She fell asleep in the car on the way to Aunt "C's". And I decided to stop and get her some chocolate donut holes & chocolate milk to cheer her up!

Weight Loss Journey begins.... AGAIN

So I've gone off and on my weight loss journey. I guess mostly I just want to tone. But dropping pounds would be nice too. My goal weight is 125 lbs. Right now I'm 133. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but it is. As soon as I drop those few little pounds I'll be working on toning up and being a lot healthier.

So Koda came home with a note from the teacher yesterday. He hit a child because they would not stop touching his desk. So now my child is in ISS. I mean seriously. He knows better than to hit. I'm not exactly sure what his punishment will be yet. Any suggestions....

Beginning to Think Country Living

isn't for me! lol I love where I live, and it's absolutely beautiful. What I do not like is all the little critters. I'm not a big fan of mice, snakes (poisonous ones), or scorpions. Luckily I have yet to encounter at my house. Snakes are a different story. We always see at least one slither across our yard. I was at my friend Katie's a few weeks ago when her hubby stumbled up on this......

Yep that is an itty bitty baby rattlesnake. I can't even begin to imagine what would have happened had one of the kids come upon it.
And mice really irritate me. We constantly battle field mice. They taunt me. I can't ever catch them, and they seem to be getting smarter. This weekend Brad's goal is to get them away from the house!

Homecoming Parades are FUN!!!

Last night was our homecoming parade.  It was fun, and the kids really enjoyed themselves.  They also showed off their mums & garters. 

Today was spirit pants day!  So here are the kids in their pants. They look so stinking cute!
